Completed in June 2015 at Beaconhills Primary School in Pakenham, this ship boasts 6 physical play items including a slide, rope climb and monkey bars as well as imagination play items almost too numerous to count. The usual features of treasure maps, walking planks and telescopes have been boosted by the new addition of copper speaking tubes, which link the whole playground together.
The new addition of a stand-alone timber dinghy will help let the little pirates make their escape whilst the rubber soft-fall keeps them safe. In the interest of allowing all students to join in, this ship has full disabled access to the lower deck and duel steering wheels so that no student misses out on the fun. The ship was designed by Blue Leaf Creations in conjunction with 3D design. The landscaping and soft fall was completed by JGS landscapes and commercial builders, G&D Noonan, oversaw all construction.
